We are glad that you found PFLAG Jersey City! We provide support, education, and advocacy, and we hope that you will come join us at one of our support meetings. There are also many resources available online, and we just want to guide you towards some of our favorites.

 

PFLAG National has many resources available on their website. Here we provide you with links to a few specific resources, but it is worth spending some time just looking around.

 

If you are looking for basic information on language and terminology, PFLAG has a searchable glossary.

 

Two of our favorite publications are Our Trans Loved Ones and Our Children. Both provide good, accurate, clear information for individuals and families about how to understand and support our loved ones.

 

PFLAG National also provides virtual meetings for specific communities once a month; you can learn more about this here. We especially want to point out the meetings and resources available to the Latino/Latina community, including resources and meetings in Spanish.
