PFLAG- The extended family of the LGBTQ community made up of LGBTQ individuals, family members and allies. Trans Youth Equality Foundation
GLSEN- Creating safe and affirming schools for all regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Local chapter available.

Hudson Pride Connections Center
Hudson Pride runs a Youth Connect program, "a safe space for LGBTQ youth to interact with their peers as well as a place to interact with, learn from, and be mentored by LGBT adults."
PFLAG NYC is an active chapter, with many interesting events. Check them out!
Garden State Equality, a state-wide advocacy group with headquarters in Asbury Park.
