I found this lapel pin at HRC's website (Human Rights Campaign), for $5. If someone in the LGBTQ+ community sees it, they'll know I'm an ally. If other people have no idea why I'm wearing it, they can ask me about it and we'll have a conversation. Either way it's a win.


It's important to me that we move forward, even in these perilous political times, and I think the way forward is one conversation at a time.
