Pride on the Hudson

Sailing season gets underway--with a proud pride flag!

The sun is out at last, after days of fog and rain...spring flowers are everywhere, and pool season is only weeks away! It's hard NOT to be excited!

Please check our calendar frequently for PRIDE celebrations, as this year is World Pride, 50 years since Stonewall.

Here in NJ, we're proud of our governor, Phil Murphy, for stating that the trans-ban is "abhorrent and un-American." He will allow trans individuals to continue to serve in the National Guard. https://nj1015.com/nj-defies-trump-transgender-ban-allows-service-in-national-guard/

PS: our monthly meeting is May 20 due to Memorial Day the following week, and Jersey City Pride is not til August 24. If you'd like to help our PFLAG Jersey City chapter, please get in touch. We're always happy to have more smiling faces under our tent.

Enjoy these fleeting spring days before "hazy, hot, and humid" sets in!
