Yes, it is! And a reminder that Father's Day is this Sunday, so get out your crayons, kids, and make him a card. (at least)


It's Pride Month 2019, and an important anniversary, as this year's NYC Pride is called World Pride 2019. You don't have to look far to see signs of it everywhere, as these photos show.


This is Harmonica Sunbeam, who reads books once a month for Word Books' "Drag Queen Story Time", a much-loved event by kids of all ages. When PFLAG Jersey City heard that May's event was protested, we decided to show up in June to give moral support.


We believe in walking the walk, not just talking the talk.











On the right is City Hall in Manhattan, decked out in Pride flags on a very rainy day. Below you see young women doing a Pride-themed photo shoot in the Oculus, a major hub for commuters as well as shoppers.











Today, we did a training session with childcare providers in Hudson County, and were fortunate to find open-minded, supportive people, who already read books about different kinds of families, and who remind even the youngest children that being kind to one another is all-important.
